So what has God impressed upon me and Jason in wrapping up the 40 days. I don't know if there is enough time. Simply put he took me back to the scripture for this ministry in Isaiah 58. But beyond verse 11 is verse 12 and it talks about the rebuilding.......
Isaiah 58:11-12
The Lord will guide you always;
he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land
and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail.
12 Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins
and will raise up the age-old foundations;
you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls,
Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.
I don't know about you, but that is super exciting! I love building projects, I love to vision and dream about what is yet to come. More over than that I love history, and antique things. So imagine my excitement when God confirmed that we are really doing this!!!! This ministry to work with broken people isn't just my ministry. Jason has a leading role. And even more suprising!!!!! wait for it, wait for it!
Jason is totally on board, almost excited to get underway. We are kicking off our first after 40 days event by going to another Marriage Encounter Retreat! If you haven't been to one, I highly recommend it! It will enhance a great marriage, refocus a lack luster marriage, and begin the restoration process of a struggling marriage. Feel free to post any questions. Marriage Encounter is an Assembly of God marriage program. It is open to all denominations and is quite possibly the most affordable jump start or get away you can ask for. It is packed with a support system you can't do with out.
