The Battle Belongs to the Lord!

No weapon formed against you shall prosper!

Spiritual Warfare is a topic that is often a source of contention in the body of Christ.  I find it interesting that while we as Christians are to preach the gospel to the corners of the earth. We are also called to lay hands on the sick so they can be healed, the lame, reach to the weary and the lost in the name of Jesus.  Jesus said in the word that he was leaving us the ability to do great things in his name.  He also stated that we are to cast our demons and to lay claim and hold tight to the provision he has given us.  In Acts he states he is sending the comforter to go with us on our journey until Christ's return.  The comforter, "Holy Spirit" is our "Right Here, Right Now" way to commune with God.
I wonder if we take him at his word?  Recently I had the pleasure to be witness to some pretty intense deliverance and it has brought me to a place to question why we as a society are so interested in the supernatural and why as the body of Christ are so ill equipped and unwilling to engage the supernatural and just let Jesus have his way in our life.  God wants to do great and might things through us but we have to be willing, and have to be faithfully abiding in him so he can work through us.

The bible says we have power over all this earth and that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).  So how do we embrace that?  How do we take hold of our God given right through all that Christ did for us on the cross? Stay tuned for more to come on the Weapons of our Ware fare.
